ENGLISH LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (ELDP)
SNS Institute is committed to provide quality education to its students, the starting step of which is a strong base in English. This is why our teachers are trained personally by a Special Educationist and Educational Consultant Smt. Purni Krishnakumar through her language development programme LEARNSCAPE, which builds all the aspects of a student's skills in speaking, reading and writing in English.
OLYMPIADS
Science Olympiad Foundation, Gurgoan – Conducts Olympiad examinations in Computer Science & Sports.
Eduheal Foundation, Delhi – Conducts Olympiad examinations in English, Science, Mathematics & General Knowledge.
Participations in Olympiads is compulsory.
VVM
Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) is an initiative of Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA), in collaboration with National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), an institution under the Ministry of Education, Government of India and National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. VVM is a national program for popularizing science among school students of standard VI to XI, conceptualized to identify bright minds with a scientific aptitude from the student community.
KAMP
KAMP's holistic approach ensures that students from all academic backgrounds have the opportunity to benefit from our program. With this initiative, we can identify gifted and talented students early in their academic journey and provide them with the necessary support to foster their potential.
By contributing to the development of a highly skilled and knowledgeable human resource pool, we are confident that KAMP will play a pivotal role in nurturing future Indian leaders in science and technology on a global scale.
SPOT EXAMINATION
The exams are conducted in 2 phases, online, wherein every shortlisted student stand to gain intellectually & academically via an interactive Science portal, SPOT Link, for over a span of 5 months. Doing SPOT develop student’s ability to ask questions, collect information, organize & test ideas, problem solve & apply what one learns.
SPELL BEE
To improve the children’s linguistic skills; Spell Bee competitions are conducted and awarded according to their levels of competencies
GAMES & SPORTS
A lot of emphasis is given to health and physical education here. Strength and Skill training is the main focus. Students are offered Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, Skating and Athletics. Yoga is compulsory for all classes.
HOUSE SYSTEM
To infuse the young blood with patriotism and love for mother land Bharath, students are grouped under four houses bearing the names of freedom fighters, scientists & social workers. The house activities develop team spirit, co – operation, acceptance and leadership.
